Toyota Glanza same as Baleno: What's different?

Toyota Glanza and Baleno look similar, save for the design of badging and alloy wheels. The Toyota Glanza has five colour options, Baleno is available in six colour options (Toyota Glanza and Baleno share five colours, but the Baleno gets an extra 'lux beige' shade).

Toyota Glanza and Baleno different

The Toyota Glanza is Rs 4,000 to Rs 20,000 more expensive than the Baleno. One reason could be that the Toyota Glanza looks more premium and gets more connectivity features, and perhaps even because Toyota has a stronger brand value. But despite its high sticker price, the Toyota Glanza comes as a better buy as it is offered the standard 3 years/year. Being offered with a warranty of 100,000 km, while baleno is offered at a speed of 2 years/year. With a warranty of 40,000 km.

Toyota designers have used a horizontal, feather-like chrome design line that runs from one headlight to another, making the Toyota Glanza look wider than that. The surface area of the front grille in the Toyota Glanza also looks bigger than the Baleno.

The Baleno has a black and silver cabin, which makes it sportier inside. The Toyota Glanza's cabin, on the other hand, has a shade of beige with matte black and piano black, making it look more premium.

The engine is the same for Toyota Glanza and Baleno the 1197cc petrol and all technical specifications. Toyota Glanza and Baleno Both get manual and AMT (automatic manual transmission) gearbox options, but Maruti Suzuki later calls it as AGS (Auto Gear Shift), while TKM simply calls it AMT.

The Baleno has said it can also be owned through a Maruti Suzuki subscribe at an all-inclusive monthly subscription fee (which includes registration, service and maintenance, and insurance and roadside assistance) starting at Rs 13,999. If we choose between baleno and Toyota glanza, and keep the car with us for at least a few years, Toyota glanza will be our choice.
